Consultation

From brushed up brows to neat and defined, choosing the right brow look can be difficult. That’s why every HD Brows treatment starts with a consultation where I will help you based on your face shape, skin tone and of course, your style.

Threading

Next, I will create a smooth, neat finish with threading. In the HD Brows treatment, I use threading to remove any fluffy hairs above and below the brow to ensure there’s no tell-tale signs of waxing.

Tinting

Unlike a regular eyebrow tint, I’ll apply the tint around the brow to pick up those fair and fluffy hairs you didn’t even realise where there. I will then custom-blend the bespoke HD Brow Dyes to create the perfect tone to complement your skin tone, hair tone and overall style.

Tweezing and finishing

If necessary, I will tweeze any stray hairs, trim unruly hairs down and create a finish that suits your style using our brow make up range.

Waxing

I will begin to create your dream eyebrow shape through waxing, using the exclusive HD brows design formula. I will keep in mind any areas where you may want to re-grow hair, working towards your long-term brow goals.

Aftercare

I will finish the treatment with some aftercare advice to help you maintain your results, along with some product recommendations. This is especially important if you’re on a re-growth programme, working towards your dream brows.

FAQ’s

  • HD brows treatment, differs to many other eyebrow treatments as we don’t believe in a one-shape-fits-all ethos. Brows are as individual as fingerprints and so each step of the HD Brows treatment is completely bespoke from the personal consultation, shape design, tailoring and aftercare process.

  • The effects of the treatment usually last around 4-6 weeks, however this can vary depending on your hair growth. After your first few treatments I will be able to recommend how often you should be having the treatment done.

  • The HD Brows treatment usually takes around 45 minutes, but we would suggest allowing an hour for the treatment.

  • When you choose an HD Brows stylist, you know you’re in safe hands. All stylists have attended an intensive training course and know everything there is to know about brows.

    It needs to be understood that perfect brows might not be created in one appointment. This is why HD Brows stylist will put together a re-growth programme with your ideal eyebrow shape in mind.

  • I will work with you on a regrowth programme to achieve the perfect brow shape. In the meantime, you can fake it with make up application which I will show you. Products like HD brows Lash & Brow Booster will also help to encourage hair growth.

  • HD Brows uses various hair removal techniques to create your desired brow shape. Microblading is a semi-permanent technique that sits under the tattooing family, lasting around 1-3 years.

  • The treatment is not classed as semi-permanent, however i do use permanent tint on the brows during the treatment. The lasting effects of this vary depending on skin type, hair growth and skin care routine. Results of the HD Brows treatment typically last around 4-6 weeks.

  • Due to EU law, you can’t have your brows tinted under the age of 16. Don’t worry, you can still have the treatment done from the age of 13 (with parental consent, of course) however we would just need to skip the tinting stage.

  • You will be required to carry out a tint patch test prior to your first appointment. You will only need to re-take the patch test if there is a six month break between treatments, or you have changes to your medical history.

  • This completely depends on the amount of hair you have to begin with. I will be able to advise how many treatments to recommend to give you the brows you eventually want during your first consultation.

  • HD Brows is not a treatment that can be performed at home. HD Brows stylists are trained to the highest level, therefore the treatment can’t be done by anyone who hasn’t been trained at an official academy. However, you can keep your brows looking fresh between treatments at home by using the HD Brows make up range.

  • For some, the perfect brows might just be one treatment away. However those with sparse or over-plucked brows may need to be put on a re-growth programme. I will educate you on the areas needed to grow in so the shape can be improved at each appointment. You’ll also be educated on the best HD make up to use on any gaps in your brows until your dream brow shape has been created.
