Permanent Brow & Tattoo Removal
ABOUT THE TREATMENT
Permanent Brow & Tattoo Removal: What is it and how does it work?
Unwanted tattoos or permanent makeup can be removed or lightened gradually over a series of sessions using a laser.
The laser technology breaks down the ink particles in the tattoo which are then absorbed by the lymphatic system and passed out of the body.
One of a Kind Laser - Unlike other lasers used for removing tattoos, we use the Undo PMU Face and Body Laser which is the first device that has been specifically configured not just for the body but also for use on the sensitive tissues of the face (for permanent makeup removal) meaning that we can treat clients safely and effectively.

THE PROCEDURE
Laser Permanent Brow & Tattoo Removal Procedure
Consultation
The journey begins with a thorough consultation and patch test, during this we can discuss your goals and put together a specially designed treatment plan ranging from complete removal or fading for coverup.
When discussing permanent brow removal specifically, there are 3 different types of pigment that can be used, inorganic, organic and hybrid. This is why a thorough level of understanding and expertise is required which can then be discussed within the consultation in order to plan a bespoke course of treatment.
Initial appointment,
Prior to the treatment we review the pre-treatment care instructions ensuing you followed the guidance and that your skin is in the best possible condition will help optimise the treatment’s effectiveness.
The laser is then specifically set to the required wavelength, repetition rate and energy density and then carefully guided over the tattooed area, delivering precise pulses of laser energy to target and break down the tattoo ink particles. Sensation is often describes as a feeling similar to a rubber band snapping against your skin, but most patients find it tolerable.
After the treatment, we will provide you with detailed post-treatment care instructions to promote healing and minimise any side effects.
Follow Up Appointments
Tattoo removal typically requires multiple sessions to achieve complete removal. In order to know how many sessions you'll need, there are many factors to consider, relating specifically to brow tattoo removals:
· Age of tattoo
· What ink was used
· Permanent brow treatment method
· Pressure and technique of the original technician
· How many permanent brow treatments incurred
· Immune system performance
We will schedule your follow-up sessions based on your personalised treatment plan. Each session will be spaced at least 6 weeks apart to allow your skin to heal and the ink to break down further.
